I grew up on a farm in Kent which was my Grandfather's and which was sold when he died when I was 16. We were by no means "rich". I have 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister. My Mother gave birth to my younger sister when she was 45 and a year later she contracted breast cancer, at 56 she died of bone cancer. I was 23 at the time and my sister 11, my Father then 60. he later died at 84.

I returned home for 5 years until my sister was 16/17. I do not have a degree or extensive education, just one English language GCE O Level and even that I obtained at an evening class as I left school at 15, but I managed to keep myself solvent throughout life with a variety of interesting jobs. Entomologist Assistant, Children's Photographer & Studio Coordinator, Qualified Nurse, Surgical Fitter, Estate & Letting Agent Secretary/PA/ Negotiator. I met a few famous persons in this time including the Queen. For 5 years I was also holding a second live in job, as well as my main job, usually looking after someones elderly parent and cleaning. 1996 to 2004 I would travel from London to Kent every weekend to care for my Father as he gradually became less able, although he remained independent until he died after a weeks illness in 2004 at 84. He went to the Middle East for 4 Years during the war and was at El Alamein, Egypt. My Mother experienced the "doodlebugs" that flew over Kent at the time, a family nearby was killed as one fell directly on their home. She felt the war had stolen her youth, which it had, my Fathers also. My Parents were good parents and we had the basics, but they worked hard, my Father only having Sunday Afternoon off and starting at 6am and finishing between 6pm and 10pm most days. My Mother never put us "out" for babysitting with family or otherwise, nor did she have help with us when children from my Father much, he was working long hours anyway and would be "napping" in the chair when home. I would have been distraught if I had to be handed from pillar to post that MOST children are now. What is the point of having children if one cannot be there to to teach them YOUR values and enjoy them. The benefit system tends to encourage young women to conceive children to an extent due to the ability to "get a flat" and benefits if they have no home and there is a child involved. We need to deal with this, for it burdens society with children born by teenagers and older women who have no long term partner or job, and it is THIS that sets the "poor" up for lifelong poverty. We should educate children early on in life, even at primary school, that there is more to life than having children, and it is irresponsible to have them before one is 25 unless one cannot support them in a stable long term marriage or civil relationship NOR before they are in a stable relationship. Yet sometimes life makes an unexpected turn however hard we try to avoid it. But with some it is done purposely, and it is expected that the taxpayer is obliged to support numerous children and provide a home and there are no financial repercussions, this is done by the English and immigrants. They should be made aware that once a child arrives then their own life must then, to a certain extent, take second place to their children in order that they are not emotionally damaged and have a basic opportunity in life. My life was disrupted due to the unavoidable difficulties that the family encountered, and this affects a child or young persons ability to learn, as does having poor parenting, or parents who are too young. We can rectify this I believe if we make children aware of the basics of life, early on in life, and help them identify their talents and identify goals for a life that motivates them, particularly if they are not getting the proper attention from parents, together with basic family planning knowledge. If a child is not academic then repetition of basic maths, reading, writing, spelling, computer use so that they leave school at least with these basics for they can always read or learn more after leaving school later in life. This is better than complicated concepts like Algebra which they will never use anyway and cannot understand, for the basics are not understood. Ability to read adequately is paramount, for functioning in life and for further education or self education by reading. In the UK they can always improve their education with evening class at any stage in life, as we grow older we sort of "wake up" a little and are more ready to learn. We learn more when we want to learn and we can become more inspired to learn as we grow older. We live in a sort of "darkness" when we have NO knowledge of History or Science or Astronomy, however, it does not have to be at a detailed academic level. An overview repeated several times over the year such as the 9 Video clips below would be adequate particularly for children being excluded from school, less academic children or teenagers or those in prison, or as a basis for us all to build on with deeper study. For best results the DVD's need to be watched in a short space of time i.e. every day, all day, with the usual daily breaks. This enables the viewer to absorb the whole "picture of life" or History of Man and the "theme" is not lost in ones mind which occurs when viewed over months or years or other subjects brought in, we lose the "thread" in our mind. No notes or tests need be taken, just to be enjoyed as a video, maybe a discussion after each section. With the internet we can do much more to improve the world than before.

As for "Beating Terrorism" we CAN do this VERY easily by highlighting to the WORLD certain verses in the Qur'an that are currently being ignored but which "balance" the errors that are currently being taught by Islam/Muslims, as well some "Truths" that are being ignored. For instance, the Qur'an tells us to read the scriptures from "aforetime" which is the Bible, and to believe ALL the Prophets, not just the Prophet of the Qur'an. The Qur'an DOES also confirm Jesus is the Son of God. The Christian Church is also at fault, and we need to highlight the error of certain teachings promoted by 99% of the Christian Churches, which ARE errors. Two in particular are the "Trinity" teaching and Jesus being God as well as the Son. The Bible does not truly support these teachings and they confuse what the message of God might really be. We also need to clarify the teachings by the Jews with regard to the "Messiah". 

If there is only one God there should only be one message from him, yet we have numerous "messages" and faith "groups" even within the Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths. The reason for this is that no-one knows the "Holy" books thoroughly enough and then do not have the FULL message, but each THINK they know it and have the full "message" when they only know part of it because they only know part of the 2 books, the Bible and Qur'an. We are often biased on towards our own faith until we start considering both books and start acknowledging the contradictions in both. Believers are also all trying to follow "perfectly" books that are NOT perfect, though we claim they are, we can KNOW they are NOT perfect because they have contradictions in them. That does not necessarily mean there is not a message from God in them, but that we really need to know VERY well both the Bible and the Qur'an if we follow these faiths. At present NO ONE does. Memorizing is not good enough, for no "understanding" reached. Believers then act on VARYING degrees of what they DO know, or rely on another persons understanding (a faith Leader or a friend), thinking that person has the full message, and then do crazy things like killing others because they act on knowing only "part" of the message or verses from God. If indeed these books do carry a valid message from God. There may be a message there, I believe there is, but we need to look into these 2 books in a public discussion to establish what the obvious errors are by the verses/scripture, so that "believers" do not follow terrorism, which is an error of teaching. I speak of Muslims AND Christians, I speak of realizing that we have ALL "got it wrong" and we need to go deeper into these 2 books, even deeper than the Pope and Archbishop of Canterbury, the Imam’s and ISIS. So that we also establish worldwide what the "truths" or "message of God" may be (if there is "truth" in these 2 books), so that if there is an "eternal life" or "Paradise" after death (I believe there is) then people may know why and how to receive it. People killing themselves or others will certainly not give it to us. When we are young (even to age 30) we may be persuaded to do such things by a few verses and fear of life and God, which is why early on in life, the very few "balancing" verses must be made known, even at late primary age or 11 onwards. Even in the Christian teaching there have been mass suicides, not to mention the Islamic suicide bombings. It is all because believers follow "part" of the words in these 2 books, the Bible and Qur'an.
